Drei CD4017BE für ein Lauflicht ohne Kaskadierung
aber der 74HC595 ist nicht für 9 Volt geeignet. CD4014 und CD4021 haben nur serielle Ausgänge. Der CD4094 lässt sich nicht praktikabel resetten. Also bleibt nur noch der CD4015 für den gewünschten Anwendungsfall übrig, wenn man keinen uC einsetzen will.

please use an external transistor. EXTENDEDOUTPUTS It is possible to connect 1 to 32 chips like 74HC4094 to the eDIP (OUT1...OUT3), this is why it is attainabletohave8to256additionaloutputs.Thecommand"ESCYEn1n2n3"(seep.16)provides a comfortable way to control the outputs.
