Gibt es mittlerweile Erfahrungswerte, ob sich PICkit4 und AS7 vertragen? Gerne würde ich damit die neueren ATtiny/mega mit UPDI programmieren.

Um reines Audio über lange Strecken zu übertragen ist AES eigentlich perfekt. AES Transmitter Chips gibt es fast ausschließlich nur mit I2S Interface, so dass du die direkt mit einem ADC koppeln kannst und theoretisch keinen separaten Chip benötigst.

Ich würde dir nochmal AES3 ans Herz legen. Da kannst du ebenfalls 8 Kanäle über ein RJ45-Kabel übertragen.
