Wie spricht man MIPS aus?

MIPS wird "Mips" ausgesprochen.
"Million Instructions per second"

Würde "Meips" ausgesprochen, wären es ja "Einstructions"...

Du könntest auch die Monty-Python-Variante benutzen...

Genau so, wie es geschrieben ist, da es eine Abkürzung ist.

Das I steht für Instructions. Da wird auch im Englischen ein I
und kein Ei gesprochen.

"SCSI" wird ja auch gerne "Skasie" ausgesprochen...(nur mal so am Rande)

"MIPS" ist ja eine Abkürzung, die man gut als Wort aussprechen kann. Das 
wäre also schneller als das Buchstabieren.

"FLOPS" gehören auch zu dieser Kategorie.

Buchstabieren anglophile viel?

Ein Wort fällt mir dazu nur ein "Em-Ei-Es-Es-Ei-Es-Es-Ei-Pi-Pi-Ei"...
