Sending a e-mail over mobile phone using atmega128

Hi all chip-lovers.



First this; I am not capable of writing this in German, sorry.



Is it possible to use the AT mega128 + Bascom + ?? to send a e-mail
message with a attach ?

I want to use my AT mega128 and my basic knowledge of Bascom to send a
e-mail from a moving vehicle to the Internet, to myself.

The AT mega128 job is to make 20 measurements of 4 analog signals every
second. After some hours I want to send this sort of text file via a
mobile phone (module?) to my e-mail address.

Do you have some experience with sending a e-mail over a mobile phone
(a module) using BASCOM, please give me some links of the products you
use.

lets calculate: 4 measurements, 8 bit/analog input, makes 4 bytes per
second, makes 1500 bytes per hour. Not that much stuff, that this seem
to be difficult.

at least you neet the at command set for GSM phase  2 or 2+

uups, sorry, didnt read the factor 20 ....

but i think thats not the big think to transfer 30 Kbytes each hour in
binary mode (send it as an MMS)

thanks Martin to point me the way to go, I just did not know about
something like MMS. Have just been reading more about it, and will
continue on this path I think.
