Kameramodul TCM8240MD

Hi Leute,
bei sparkfun gibt es schönes kleines Kamera modul mit JPEG Ausgabe
Preis <10$ !

"Description: The TCM8240MD is a high quality, very small 1.3 mega-pixel 
color camera from Toshiba with the standard data+I2C interface. The nice 
thing is that we have a complete datasheet on this camera along with a 
good supplier. This camera is also unique in that it offers on-board 
JPEG compression."

Einige Cracks im sparkfun Forum haben schon mit Teil rumexperimentiert, 
allerdings klappte es bisher scheinbar nicht mit der JPG Ausgabe, da die 
Initialisierung nicht stimmt.

Hat sich Jemand mit dem Teil schon einmal befaßt ?
Kennt Jemand ein Handy in dem Teil verbaut ist ?
Dann könnte man das I2C Protokoll einfach sniffen !
Oder kennt Jemand ein vergleichbares Modul, was vor allem in Stückzahlen 
<10 zu bekommen ist.
