Were there 3 versions of Condrad RDS Manager uvailable

Hi there, when hunting for Condrad RDS Manager (which is on its way now, 
thanks to a forum user, read here for more details:

I came across 3 different versions

1: version in box (box-version.jpg, better picture here:

2: built-in version that has LCD backlight (light.jpg)
3: built-in version that has no LCD backlight (no_light.jpg

now apart from obvious diferences like a missing RCA jack, no light bulb 
the built-in version is a bit different as well (the box version does 
not have the left portion (where X is on box-version.jpg picture and it 
looks like you can just break that section off (it has dots)) populated 
while both of the bult-in versions have that populated

and the box version also has a lot of components that built-in version 
does not have (my software engeneering eyes only spotted the most 
obvious ones, like the RCA jack :) (but I was then confused as I didn't 
understand why the built-in version has a wire going to the section that 
you can break off, while the boxed version does not have that) but after 
some help from my friends and after reading this:

filter section missing, now I woud like to hook this into a stereo 
output of a reciever /when reciever is in MONO of course) (it has 
de-emphasis so RDS will be realy weak after that so I think I need this 
missing components that the box version has which mine does not)

its written what is missing but I am realy confused as I have no idea 
what to buy and after that where on the device I have to solder all this 
to make my built-in version the box version

Also if someone also can tell me what LCD does this thing use (I found 
no markings on it) it would be great as well
