I need the firmware for the GM328A component tester and a link to a video that shows how to burn the ATMEGA P-PU IC. I appreciate all the help. I had a problem calibrating the GM328. I tested a charged capacitor and it burned out a C9012 transistor. I replaced it. The screen came on but kept asking me to CALIBRATE, but it just stayed that way. Does anyone know how to fix it? I appreciate any help.

1 | Self-test & Calibration: |
2 | Note: This Tester requires calibration before use. |
3 | The Self-test & Calibration can be started by either: |
4 | - Shorting all test points and turning the device ON |
5 | - Selecting it from the Function Menu |
My guess is, there is a bunch of shorts which make the microcontroller think all test leads are shorted. Maybe the Transistor wasn't the only fried component. Reprogramming the firmware will not help in case microcontroller internal circuit on the measurement pins is fried. br, mf
