JBC AC-2600 / AC2600 / AC-C programming console or EPROM readout from JBC AM 6000?

Lesenswert?

I recently got hold of the nice JBC AM 6000 (AM6000) soldering station. However, it seems that the previous owners (a company here in Sweden) had programmed it to a fixed temperature as well as disabled the idle / sleep timer.

Finding a JBC AC2600 / AC-2600 / AC-C programming console seems impossible.

Is there anyone out here who has the programming console and want to sell it?

Another solution for me would be if someone out there with a JBC AM6000 station where fixed temp is DISABLED and where the sleep timer is enabled that could read out the contents of the EPROM and post it here.

I have seen similar solutions in other forums where the user was able to do this but that was for the JBC AD2700 station and don't think that the EPROM contents would be the same for the AM6000. (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/reviews/jbc-ad2700-soldering-station-fixed-temperature/msg2734250/#msg2734250)

I might also be able to communicate with the AM 6000 through serial protocol but for that I would need information on how the pinout would be for serial communication with the AM 6000 when connecting a terminal program to the soldering stand connector. Is there anyone who has knowledge of this?

Hi,

I have an AM 6000 where the potentiometer input is shorted to ground through the main controller IC. I'm currently working on replacing the controller with an Arduino.

Once I connected, I’ll try to read the EPROM contents and post them here assuming I can get everything running properly.
