Hello, im new with microcontrollers and would like to create an keyboard emulator controlled over a local network. I have chosen this µc because of its network bootloader: http://www.digitale-elektronik.de/shopsystem/product_info.php?cPath=61_105&products_id=129 The controller should control some pcs via ps2 keyboard port. The code wouldn't be my problem but the circuit around the µc, i want the ps2 output's power to be separated from the µc's power source. Thanks in advance Kristoffer 'spq' Janke

You'll have to use some kind of galvanic isolation (e.g. optocouplers) for the signal lines. I don't know which frequency is needed but if optocouplers are not fast enough you should have a look at the iCoupler system of Analog Devices.
Okay das ist ja schonmal ein guter tip, wäre die isolierung für den ps2 port hiermit möglich: http://www.esacademy.com/faq/i2c/q_and_a/faq/i2cqa3.htm würden 2 dieser schaltungen + ein opto koppler für das signal ob strom anliegt oder nicht funktionieren?
