Bootmanager fuer XP und Vista

Es kann, wenn XP zuerst installiert war und dann "Vista" nachinstalliert 
wird. Dann aktualisiert es den Bootmanager entsprechend.
Andersherum gehts auch, ist bloß komplizierter. XP überschreibt bei der 
Installation den Vista-Bootmanager, so daß nach erfolgreicher 
XP-Installation der Vista-Bootmanager neu installiert werden muss.

Leute,
vielen Dank fuer die links, das schaut ja gut aus. Wie ich wieder ins XP 
komme ist mir noch nicht ganz klar. Ich hab dessen bootsektor wieder mit 
Vista ueberschrieben...

Ist es denn nicht so, dass vista nur mit dem Microsoft eigenen 
Bootloader funktioniert? ich meine irgendwo mal gelesen zu haben, dass 
vista den Dienst verweigert wenn es etwas "unbekanntes" im Bootsektor 
entdeckt!

Mit Grub und Lilo startet vista jedenfalls nicht!

man kann den Bootmanager mit Vista eigenen Boardmitteln einstellen und 
zwar mit bcdedit.exe. Es gibt auch freie und vor Allem graphische Tools, 
die das erleichtern

ich hab's probiert. Es war leider nichts.

Ich hatte nun 2 Boot Entries, beide waren XP, kein Vista

Ein Vista Repair hat es gefixt. Vista geht wieder, XP ist wieder weg. XP 
kannte uebergigens kein Repair. Es war ein volles Install von einer 3/4 
Stunde.
