atmel mp3 chip + HDD example not working

hi

i have the AT89C51SND1 Development Kit (AT89DVK-04)

i would to test the hdd example from the cd Development Board IDE-HDD
Demonstration Firmware 0.2.0...

i maked the ide adapter according snd1-ide-adapter-1_0_1.pdf

so the i have formatted an HDD to fat32/fat16 and have copied one mp3
file in the root directory

the i have conencted the HDD to the board

if i power up the board and the HDD i will see the LCD Splash Screen
with the KeyPad Lock symbol

after 3-4 secondes the KeyPad Lock symbol disappears but the LCD Splash
Screen remains and the HDD seems to be in a Read blocked state..(its
very loud...) an the software hangs

you probably can give me some suggestions?
