Hallöchen Brauche eine negative Spannung die mit mindestens 3A belastbar ist. Dafür habe ich den MAX774 gefunden. Der MAX774 arbeitet mit einen externen FET und Shunt zur Strommessung. Wenn ich die externen Bauteile richtig berechne, müsste ich höhere Ströme am Ausgang erreichen können. Aber warum schreiben die im Datenblatt dann nur 1.5A Ausgangsstrom. Man kann den MAX774 sowieso nur mit einen externen Transistor betreiben. Es sollte bei entsprechender Beschaltung ja kein Problem sein ? Gibt es einen anderen Grund warum der MX774 nicht mit mehr Strom betrieben

Zwecks bau einer Campinglaterne habe ich mir auch einen MAX 774 bestellt. Ich will damit zwei Luxeon K2 (parallel) mit max. 1A betreiben. Ich habe allerdings das Problem, aus der Schaltung nur max. 800 mA rauszubekommen, bei 2 LED's sinkt der Wert sogar unter
Wenn die LED 700mA braucht, dann ists eine 3 Watt Luxeon, dafür hab ich mir eine SChaltung mit MAX774 gebaut. Funktioniert mit Eingangsspannung von 2.7-16V und lässt sich mittels Poti dimmen. Da es ein Schaltregler ist, ist auch die Effizienz nicht so schlecht. Hier findest du die Beschreibung:
Anspruechen genuegende Spannungsreferenz anschliessen die zwischen 2.5-5V liegen darf. (TL431, LM4130, MAX872, MAX6241 - Zum Teil leider sehr teuer! TL431 tuts in den meisten Faellen auch.)
