HILFE BEI INSTALLIERN EINES PROGRAMMS

Hallo zusammen!

ich habe Debian installiert und funktioniert eigentlich wunderbar und 
nun versuche ich seit paare Studen eine UML-Werkzeuge Topcast dadrauf zu 
installiern aber ich könnte das nicht hinkriegen ;das programm befindet 
sich in Downloads und konnte ich nicht mit dem Befehl tar xfv 
Topcased-RCP-linux-gtk-5.0.0.tar.gz nicht entpacken und dann habe ich 
einfach per maus clik entpackt aber wenn ich versuch es zu installieren, 
findet es nicht:

dpkg -i Topcased-5.0.0
dpkg: Fehler beim Bearbeiten von Topcased-5.0.0 (--install):
Auf das Archiv kann nicht zugegriffen werden: Datei oder Verzeichnis 
nicht gefunden
Fehler traten auf beim Bearbeiten von:
Topcased-5.0.0

Kann mir Jemand da weiterhelfen.
 bin für heder Hilfe sehr Dankbar.

Es muß auch xvf und nicht xfv heißen. "x" steht für "eXtract", "v" für 
"verbose" und "f" für "das folgende ist der Filename".

"Topcased-5.0.0" ist sicher nicht der vollständige Dateiname. 
Debian-Pakete enden immer auf ".deb".
Aber auf der von dir agegebenen Seite finde ich im "InstallationGuide" 
nirgendes was von dpkg. Wie kommst du darauf, daß des sich um ein 
Debian-Paket handelt?

schau mal bitte kurz in Readme im Anhang  , debian ist eigentlich auch 
dabei:


Key bindings can stop working on Debian (GTK+ only)

On some versions of Debian, Eclipse key bindings may stop working. In 
this context the only way to make the key bindings work again is to 
restart Eclipse.

The problem is that a focus issue exists in GTK+ 2.6.7 and earlier, for 
which SWT has a workaround. This workaround is incompatible with the 
GTK+ 2.6.7 fix, so a GTK+ version check is done at runtime to determine 
whether the workaround should be used or not. However, Debian backported 
the GTK+ focus fix into their libgtk+2.0 (2.6.4-2) package, so the SWT 
workaround and GTK+ fix are both incorrectly applied in this context.

To work around this problem, either get the Debian unstable version of 
GTK+, compile your own GTK+, or hack SWT's Shell.gtk_realize(int) and 
change the version that it checks. See SWT bug 107013 and GTK+ bug 
109246 for more information.
