10BBit A/D wandelt nur bis 01FF

Im currently putting some sensors on my zigbee-board but the a/d
converter stops at 01 FFat Vcc/2
all higer voltages dont change anything anymore.
beyond that it works well (with a 2k-potentiometer between Vcc and Gnd)

I'm really helpless what the problem is...

Dear Sebastian,
your description of the problem is very rudimentary but I think it
looks like that you are measuring in differential mode. In this case
you can detect voltages from -Vref to Vref instead of measuring from 0
to Vref. So you are loosing one bit on resolution.
