Ich habe dieses Display

an ein mini-itx (Asrock Q1900) angeschlossen (via HDMI).

Die Darstellung ist aber unvollständig, d.h. die Startleiste ist 1/4 zu 
sehen, auch vom linken und rechten Rand ist einiges abgeschnitten

Das Display hat eine Auflösung von 1024x600 Pixeln.

Ich habe nach
http://www.ubuntugeek.com/how-change-display-resolution-settings-using-xrandr.html
die Aufl umgestellt nach 1280x600.

Jetzt ist zwar alles zu sehen, aber der unterste Rand der Statusline ist 
oben, siehe Bild.
