Hello,

short to me. I'm not an electronics engineer, but am very interested
for this.
Have already been able to repair many household appliances successfully.
Can with
handle a multimeter and soldering iron. Electronic circuits can
I understand conditionally, with help. Components are known in part, if
I help to read.

My problem is my dryer. He is 2 years and 2 months old.
Of course, out of the warranty. For a week I have the following
Problem, no matter in what program. The device is completely cleaned,
Cable checked for breaks, temperature sensor measured and after
Information from the manufacturer OK.
He dries without problems, if he goes through times.

I start the dryer eg on the program "Extra Dry". in the
Display shows the remaining time of 2:38 hrs. Now it is running
Dryer for about 1-60 min, then he beep once, and the rest of the display
is back on 2:38 hours .. Sometimes is for a second a 0:00
to be recognized in the display.

Until the problem runs down the dryer to 0:00 hours and
beep then 3 times every 30sec, ready for program.

The behavior now is like removing the dryer for a short time
or turns on / off.

What struck me is that the problem turns up faster when he does
has run longer. Say the blocks get warm. Then he enters
Errors in minutes intervals.

At the moisture measurement it is not. Because in the time program he
has
the same symptoms.

There is nothing noticeable on the board.

Yesterday I once had the case that he just ran out completely
is. Could turn it on again immediately.

I'm a bit helpless where I can still search. Is it due to the power
supply
the board or is any block "partially" defective.

I have attached photos of the control electronics and the control panel.
Maybe jmd has another idea, what I try or where I measure
can.

thanks
iosman

Somebody who is aware of mains voltage should check this thing for

- bad contacts
- broken solder joints
- bad electrolytic caps.

Those could help indeed. Try to attach them to another post.
