MSP430 I2C Clock Stretching

Hallo,
ich habe Dokumentation so verstanden, dass Clock Stretching automatisch 
durchgeführt wird. Hier ein Auszug der Doku.

...TheUSCImodule supports clock stretching and also makes use of this 
feature as described in the operation mode sections.
The UCSCLLOW bit can be used to observe if another device pulls SCL low
while the USCI module already released SCL due to the following 
conditions ......

Kann mir dies jemand bestätigen?

Hallo,
zur Info. auf meine Anfrage in  TI E2E Community (Beta) erhielt ich 
folgende Antwort.

The user does not need to do anything. If a received byte has not been 
read out or if the transmitter doesn't have the data to send out, the 
USCI will automatically clock stretch.

hi,

ich würde einfach vermuten, dass das die normale funktion des i2c busses 
ist. beim i2c bus darf der slave die scl leitung auf gnd ziehen, bis die 
daten verarbeitet sind.

über das eine register bit kannst du auslesen, ub das herunterziehel 
durch einen slave passiert oder noch durch den master verursacht ist
