1 | In short, yes, you can operate A0 and A1 as differential measurements, while measuring A2 to ground and A3 to ground as single ended measurements. The input is just a basic multiplexer that can be configured for each. However, there are two things to keep in mind. |
2 | |
3 | First, I think it's best to use the single shot conversion mode when making a series of different measurements. It eliminates the questions about when the multiplexer changes, and when the conversion starts. |
4 | |
5 | Second, single ended measurements are basically differential measurements with one end grounded. Because of this, the output data for a differential measurement is a 15 bit result, basically only positive outputs (note there might be a small negative output with a small offset error). |

Zitat:
1 | Inputmultiplexer configuration (ADS1115 only) |
2 | These bits configure the input multiplexer. These bits serve no function on the ADS1113 and ADS1114. |
3 | 000 : AIN_P = AIN0 and AIN_N = AIN1 (default) |
4 | 001 : AIN_P = AIN0 and AIN_N = AIN3 |
5 | 010 : AIN_P = AIN1 and AIN_N = AIN3 |
6 | 011 : AIN_P = AIN2 and AIN_N = AIN3 |
7 | 100 : AIN_P = AIN0 and AIN_N = GND |
8 | 101 : AIN_P = AIN1 and AIN_N = GND |
9 | 110 : AIN_P = AIN2 and AIN_N = GND |
10 | 111 : AIN_P = AIN3 and AIN_N = GND |
