Center-Pad beim PIC32MX350?

It is recommended that the user connect the printed circuit board (PCB) 
ground to the conductive thermal pad on the bottom of the
package. And to not run non-Vss PCB traces under the conductive thermal 
pad on the same side of the PCB layout.

Gerade bei QFN ist das Exposed Pad für mechanische Stabilität sinnvoll.
Und nicht angelötet hat es keine Wärmeleitfähigkeit zur Platine.

Für hangelötete Prototypen kann man es floaten lassen, in der Serie 
sollte es dann angelötet auf GND liegen. Also gleich im Layout das 
exposed Pad vorsehen. Kann sonst auch mit nicht lackierten Vias unter 
dem Controller zu netten Effekten führen.
