Empia EM28178 Datasheet - Startup Problem

Hi all,

does someone have the schematic / datasheet for the above USB bridge
chip.
It is used in my  PCTV tripleStick (292e)

The following problem occurs:
* Chip is not recognized during enumeration; but it works if preheated
with a soldering iron.
* Then it works till next reboot/ enumeration.
* First guess would be a kind of enable pin that is checked during
initial boot.

It seems that this chip is obsolete and no datasheet is available easily
