Compact Flash Card Info auslesen - Testprogramm ?

Hallo
Gibt es eine Software, um die Parameter ( Seriennummer, IDE-Modi) einer 
Compact Flash auszulesen oder sogar zu ändern ?
Ich habe nach langem Googlen gefunden, dass für Palm-Computer ein 
Programm namens Card Info existiert. Gibt es sowas auch für PC mit 
Windows oder Linux?

ValidateCIS attempts to verify that a card has a reasonable Card 
Information Structure. It returns the number of tuples found in Chains.

file setupapi.log in the WINDOWS directory on the C: drive of a typical 
Windows XP installation ... Here's an example setupapi.log entry for a 
CompactFlash card that uses Toshiba components:

"USBSTOR\DISK&VEN_TOSHIBA&PROD_THNCF1G02CA&REV_3.00\1B03010305F416A9&0".
You might also have a look in the Hardware tab of the Properties window 
for a given card/reader combo
