BC548 in SMD?

Ich suche den BC548 in SMD-Bauform, finde ihn aber nicht. Heißt der 
irgendwie anders oder gibt es den gar nciht in SMD? Welcher wäre dann 
ähnlich?

Der heißt dann BC848.

See the datasheet, the -b has a certain meaning. Package is often 
SOT23-3, see datasheet (again).

different mounting technology: wired vs. surface)...

I would not believe nobody in a forum. I would take the advices from 
there as hints and have a close look to the datasheet:
