Avrdude Suse Linux 10.2 / STK200 / parport0 wieder weg !

Hallo zusammen ,

trotz langer Suche, habe ich bisher keine Lösung für mein Problem 
gefunden.
Vielleicht klappt es ja hier ;-)
Das Problem ist, nachdem Einrichten ist kurze Zeit später der Parport
nicht mehr zugreifbar.

Wenn ich den Parport einrichte (als Root) mit:

  /bin/mknod /dev/parport0 c 99 0
  /bin/chmod a+rw /dev/parport0
  /bin/chmod ugo+rwx /dev/parport0

kann man auch als normaler User darauf zugreifen.

Mache ich das kurze Zeit später, bekomme ich

 avrdude: can't open device "/dev/parport0": No such file or directory

Hmmmh , ein Blick in die /var/log/messages sagt

 Oct 23 23:15:42 hp5000 kernel: ppdev0: registered pardevice
 Oct 23 23:15:44 hp5000 kernel: ppdev0: unregistered pardevice

Kennt dieses Problem jemand von Euch hier ?
Wie kann ich denn Parport dauerhaft einrichten ?

Hallo Ingo,

bin auch kein Linux Experte, aber ich mache es immer so:

rmmod lp
modprobe ppdev
chmod 666 /dev/parport0

und dann habe ich den Parallelport für die gesamte Session zugänglich.

modprobe ... das war es ;-)
Dachte das Ding wird sowieso geladen
