JTAG INTERFACE APP MCU

Wir wollen ein JTAG Interface bauen.
Hier die Fragen:
Hat nicht FTDI eine Lib für JTAG.
Wo ist die als Link zu finden.
After browse Lattice website, I found the circuit in application note 
AN8082 is suitable for me. It use FT2232D to convert the USB to JTAG and 
RS232 interface.

But I still have 3 questions about the circuit in AN8082:

(1) Between FT2232D and JTAG interface, a STG3690 (U3) is used as 
multiplex switch I2C and JTAG. I only want JTAG, and do NOT need the 
I2C...
My question is: Can I get ride of the components by directly link the 
JTAG signals?
If can, how can I handle with the signal RIA# (pin16 of FT2232D)?

Also das hatte ich auch schon mal vor.
Ich habe mit dem FTDI chip den Xilinx Spartan3 am JTAG schon 
programmiert. Das geht super.

Jetzt muss man das JTAG in VHDL abgreifen und in die interne Kette mit 
VHDL einschleifen.

Als JTAG Steuersoftware würde sich openocd anbieten. Da wird der FTDI 
bereits ünterstützt. Fasst alles läuft über diesen FTDP-CHip.
